Financial Literacy Classes - Sponsored by Seminole Schools FCU.

Consumers Credit Counseling Service presents Financial Literacy Classes to assist individuals and families manage money, avoid financial crisis, increase savings, avoid becoming a victim of identity theft, find helpful tips when purchasing a vehicle and plan for retirement.  These classes are FREE and are open to the public. 

The following courses will be held at Seminole Schools FCU located at 2450 S. Laurel Avenue, Sanford, FL 32771 from 10:00AM to 11:00 AM:

Phishing Scams - Don't Fall Victim!  

If you receive an unsolicited email or telephone call asking for sensitive account information, BEWARE!  If we call you, our representatives from Seminole Schools Federal Credit Union will never ask you for your personal or account information online or on the telephone.  

"Phishing" scams are where thieves try to deceive you  in disclosing your credit card numbers, account information, Social Security number, passwords, or other information useful in accessing your account.  Be sure to contact us directly to verify any unsolicited telephone calls or emails, or to report any suspicious activity.  For more information, you may contact www.ftc.gov, Federal Trade Commission, or call 1-877-FTC-HELP.  Please call us at (407)322-4305 if you need more information.
